Wow! I'm very nervous yet excited for the possibility of a teacher strike. This is one of the posters in the window of my car. I've been to the negotiating meetings and am shocked at the complete disregard of hard working people. I would love to see the day when teachers stand together and bring this country to a hault! The fact that there has been ZERO coverage of any of this in the local paper may scare me more!
Kylie helped with his make-up and was more than happy to paint his nails. I had to get the nail polish remover out as we were running out the door to school the next day because he COULDN'T go to school with painted nails - even if they were painted black.
He had fun! One house gave out candy cigarettes and cigars (I know - what are people thinking - I didn't even know you could still by that crap!) Anyway, he and his friend came running down the driveway screaming at the top of their lungs "I got cigarettes, WooHoo! I got a cigar!" I was such a proud Mom!!!!
Kylie only had the make-up part done for her costume because as you can see she had more important things - the phone! Mack gave Levi a good wollup on the head with her septor after this shot. She was tired of him trying to suck her blood!
Levi and Mack went to the neighbors Halloween party. They had sooooo much fun running around with all the kids. This was taken in the spooky room at the party. Kenz wasn't to sure about it. Click on this picture to see the larger view - her face is priceless!
I can't express to all of you how excited Levi was about being the lead in his school play! He had an amazing amount of lines and he had them memorized in no time at all! He belted out his lines like a pro!
