A Break at the Beach

We headed out in the late afternoon to hit the beach. Quick surf for the guys and a climb up the dune for Kenz and I.  Ky and her friend were off wandering. We had a fire and roasted some hot dogs and marshmallows. A great night!  We got home around 11:30.

Slowly but Surely

Here are some pics of the backyard. I put in the pond two summers ago and planted a bunch last summer. This year I've added some more and it's looking great. The moss is growing nicely and I've added some grasses and flowers. The roof of the playhouse is going up nicely. I will add more pics of that as Kearb goes!

Bambi Has a Twin!

When we turned onto our cul-de-sac after baseball yesterday, this is what we saw! A mom deer and her two babies (still with spots). They were in our neighbors yard and super cute. The kids wanted to go up close and see them but since I've hear of people being hoofed to death I said no. They got to watch the three deer from the sun roof of the VW.

Kylie Makes the Dance Team at School!

Our Kylie Day has been working so hard to make the dance team at school. She started with a friend and the friend ended up backing out. Ky stuck with it and worked very hard to make the team. I wanted to go with her to try-outs to cheer her on and maybe snap a pic. but she said, "No, way!" We thought of her and sent good vibes her way when she left the house for try-outs! She's been tired and sore everyday. Super proud of her and will post pics as soon as she has her first performance! Go KY!

More Baseball Fun

Levi hit a homerun a few games ago. He was sooo proud! Last game he hit a nice line drive double. Little Mack wacks the ball! She is one heck of a ball player. A hit every time and she knocks it into the outfield almost every time up! Little but MIGHTY!

Construction Has Begun!

Construction of Mackenzie's playhouse has begun! This is going to be a playhouse for now and a sauna down the road for Kearby and I. I love the views. Oregon is the very best! Thanks Dad for coming to help!

Gymnastics

I'm so glad these two got to take this class all year together. They have had so much fun and are excellent little gymnists. They've been asked to join the advanced class for the fall!

New Uniforms

Kenzie is number 9 and her team is called the Lava Girls.

Levi got his favorite number 13 and his team is called the Orangemen.

Take Me Out to the Ballgame!

Opening ceremonies of baseball. Levi could hardly sleep last night because he couldn't wait for baseball today. He has so much fun out on the field. He really does LOVE it! He has been lucky 13 for baseball and football. He asked for the number and said it's his number. It was torture not being able to see both Levi and Mack's games because they played at the same stinkin' time.

Mackenzie the Ball Player!

She was so excited for her first game. She was the best listener on the team and the most into the game. She plays like Lee. I guess being the little sister of a big brother pays off sometimes.
She looks up to Levi so much and kept asking me after her game if Levi would have been proud of her. I told her OF COURSE. Unfortunately he couldn't watch her play because his game was at the exact same time. I was running from one end of the park to the other all morning.

I am so proud of her! She played so well. She ran hard, was ready in the field, focused on the ball, and hit like a champ!
