Spring Break with the Abeln's. Kylie, Lynn, Bryce, Hayden, and Ashton aren't pictured but were here enjoying the fun on the mountain. We LOVE Timberline! Awesome three days of snowboarding and skiing with the hottub and heated pool at the end of each day. Super FUN!
Popcorn, movie, cake, candy, and balloons! What a great party. Mackenzie had so much fun and had her good friend Clara spend the night for their first sleepover ever! FUN, FUN, FUN!
Today was Kenzie's 8th birthday. She wanted to go to Hopscotch to look around. While we were there Kearb took a seat to rest and the shops cat jumped right into his lap. She wanted him to pet her so badly. He yelled for me and the owner and I walked over to see what he was yelling for. I laughed and the owner was shocked. She said the cat doesn't like anyone. Leave it to Kearb!
We had so much fun last year we decided to go again. We had to postpone this trip multiple times because of weather. This was supposed to be a great year of winter storms and epic snow but no such luck. We did pick a great weekend though. Some of the locals said the snow this day was probably in the top three of amazing powder of all time. Snowboarding in powder up to your knees and not being able to see the board is an experience. So much fun!!!!
Levi LOVES equipment. Even if it isn't his. He and Kearb were fixing the bindings on Mack's snowboard to fit her new boots. This is why this little girl is such a princess - she has two great guys always there to take care of her!
Levi took 1st place this year! He was SO proud of his car. We even brought his other two cars from years past to race. The one from this year was the fastest. It even went up against some of the Dad cars and still won. None of the other cars could beat his design this year. The night before the big race he and Kearb made two trips to the post office here in town to get an official weight. The third time they had to go home to add weight, they just packed up the tools and took them to the post office. They sat in the parking lot at 9 at night drilling to add more weight then would run in and weigh it. Dedicated. Way to go Levi!
Kearby, Kylie, Levi, Mackenzie, and Hal all slept in the playhouse. No room for me - bummer. I had to go sleep all by myself in my own comfy bed. Too bad huh.
